For Volunteers

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of the PTA. We are grateful for the help from any professionals who could share their time and talent, all community members willing to participate in school activities and events, and all parents looking to support our children's school.

New Volunteers:
All volunteers (in-school as well as field trip chaperones) are required to complete the BCPS Volunteer Training course, but don't worry!  It's fast and easy.

This year you will have an opportunity to complete an in-person training during the RFES Back to School Night, September 3rd, 2019.
Can't make it to the in-person trainings at RFES, but still wish to participate?
Baltimore County Public Schools has set up an online application and volunteer training to allow you to volunteer with RFES. See instructions here!

Good afternoon,
We are in need of volunteers to help us with our Annual Patriot and Defender Program. This program gives students in all grade levels the opportunity to learn information related to the United States. Students have received a packet which contains the requirements for their grade level.
Volunteers will be needed every day from today through May 10 to listen to children recite during their lunchtime from 11:30am-1:30pm.
Classroom teachers would drop off testing materials when his/her class comes to lunch and pick the materials up after lunch.  Volunteers would be set up outside the cafeteria, but would get one student at a time from lunch and then walk them back to the cafeteria after testing them.  If there are no students to test, the volunteer would be able to help students practice the program requirements.
Please use the link below to sign up.
Thank you in advance for your support of this program.
