Support RFES with a Tech Trek sponsorship!

On Sunday, May 19, 2013, Rodgers Forge Elementary School (RFES) will hold its 18th Annual Tech Trek fundraiser to support a healthy lifestyle for our community while raising funds for technology for the school. This event is being held at Towson University’s Unitas Stadium and has raised over $350,000 since its inception.

Funds are raised through corporate and individual sponsorships, pledges to each of the students participating in the walk and a silent auction. Each year, our students, their families and the faculty of RFES walk from 1pm – 4pm. Each student sets a goal of how many laps they will complete (some complete as many as 40 laps or 10 miles) and they ask family and friends to sponsor their efforts.

Additionally, we have a committee of parent volunteers who organize a silent auction and reach out to local businesses for sponsorship. Last year we raised over $40,000 for this event.

Why should you support Tech Trek as a corporate or individual sponsor? It’s exceptional marketing for your business! Our school has 400+ students, and their families are exactly the kind of customers you want. Depending on your level of sponsorship, your company could be on our t-shirts, on our sponsor banner or in our school directory. It’s a tax-deductible investment in the future of your business and the community. Giving our youngest students more opportunities to learn in a high-tech environment makes the difference in their entire education—and pays dividends for generations to come.
